Are Herbal Sex Pills Safe for Me?
Now a days, a lot of men are enjoying the pleasure in their relationships with herbal sex pills. Taking the right pills in the right way can restore natural function without unpleasant side effects. However many “herbal” sex pills are spiked with illegal pharmaceuticals, and some herbs are not safe for health. So you can be safe from the harms of herbal pills by the following ways.
Step 1: Avoid any herbal pill that promises instant results. Tests done by Pfizer Inc, the New York-based pharmaceutical giant that developed Viagra, as well as other independent testing authorities, showed up to 90% of the herbal pills that promised “instant action” were spiked with illegal pharmaceutical ingredients, sometimes at dangerous levels.
Step 2: Choose herbs that have a long tradition in herbal medicine for treating men’s sexual performance. In Europe, these include tribulus terrestris, Siberian ginseng, gingko biloba, horny goat weed, saw palmetto and wild oats. South American rain forest herbs like damiana, muira puama, and maca, and the Malaysian herb tongkat ali also all enjoy a long history of successful use for enhancing sexual performance.
Step 3: Ensure the formulation states clearly on the label what it contains and at what strength. For tribulus terrestris for example, studies show the best results require a formulation with at least 40 per cent concentration of the active saponens. Avoid products where the concentration of active ingredients is low or is not stated.
Step 4: Always use the product according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If the product suggests taking according to body weight daily, you need to do this to get good results. The clinical trials with tribulus showed optimum benefits when used daily for 60 to 90 days. Many herbal remedies require gradual and consistent use for up to three months for the best results, so understand they do not generally offer an “instant solution.
Step 5: If you have a health condition like diabetes, prostate cancer or heart disease, or if you are on medication, enquire from the manufacturer or a health practitioner about whether the product is safe for you before use. Tribulus for example has been found to elevate testosterone levels, but this would not be recommended for men with a history of prostate cancer unless they had already checked with their doctor.
More Tips & Warnings:
1. Don’t take any herb continuously. Give your body a rest for a few weeks or a few months.
2. The African herb yohimbe is a popular sexual stimulant. Be aware it is available only in some jurisdictions because of the side effects which include anxiety, panic attacks, hallucinations, elevated blood pressure, heart rate and headaches.
3. If you notice any unwanted side effects from a herbal sex pill, stop taking it immediately, report the effect to the manufacturer and check with your health practitioner about its use.
4. More is not better – so don’t double the dose. You may end up with insomnia, irritability, or anxiety, all common side effects of herbal sex pills when the dose is too high.
